This whole thing with Republicans and Democrats both calling one another COMMUNIST really fucking goes to show you how completely nonsensical this political culture is. It goes to show you that the red scare never ended, and that people don't actually even know what communism is. It's just a bogeyman to them. We need more communist voices in the US bc there are none that are significant.
